The nitty-gritty: An excellent start to a new series, Stormblood melds high tech thriller with a cyberpunk sensibility and a dash of humor and heart. STORMBLOOD by Jeremy Szal is also a tough book to categorize. Part space opera, part SF noir, part military SF, and all action-packed goodness, making this a one of a kind reading experience that leaves you breathless and utterly exhausted by the end. I really had a fun time with it and there are so many elements that hit the correct chords for. JEREMY SZAL: I've always infused intensely personal material into my work. If you know me well, you'll see it immediately if you read anything I write. Still, for someone like me who's scribbling about worlds filled with asteroid cities, psychopathic AIs, alien drugs, spaceships, galactic empires, my fiction isn't exactly what you'd.
